The Position: Senior Sous Chef
The Successful Candidate:
This stunning property is looking for a Senior Sous Chef: someone who is passionate about working with amazing produce in the best environment possible.
To be suitably qualified for this role you will be in a Junior/Sous Chef role currently and must be able to demonstrate a minimum 2-3-rosette level background, whilst also having a flair and originality to bring to the team. You must be a strong all-rounder, able to cover all sections and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence and have knowledge of GP’s and hygiene legislation. The emphasis here is on quality across the board encompassing the fine dining restaurant, breakfast, lunch, lounge services and top-end events/banqueting – you must have the drive to motivate the team and assist the head chef in menu development ideas – whilst making a name for yourself within a superb operation.
This role is for a serious property with £multi-million food turnover so you will need to be a strong all-rounder to take on this challenge and make it a success – the rewards, however, will be plentiful!
